Do You Need a “Mental Health Day”?

You absolutely need one! We all need to be a bit selfish and do whatever it is that makes us happy, whether it’s for a few hours or the entire day.

Combating stress is essential to your well being. Untamed, chronic stress can lead to sleep problems, digestive problems, depression, heart disease, obesity, and more.

It’s not too late for companies to encourage mental well-being among employees.  You can email a link to to let them know about the campaign, organize a mental wellness activity for tomorrow (i.e. lunchtime walk, share a joke by email hour or emailed tips on tech tips to make life easier) or look to do something in the coming weeks and months.  Finding ways to support employee mental health is good business, Ted Leonsis even said so in the My Mental Health Day video!
